The Paradox Project – Eight

When in Doubt, keep the Faith!

It was a rainy day in January

when I saw you smiling at me,

whispering my name,

and calling me Pretty.

It was you who taught me to dream,

to believe things are better than it seem.

And when mind changes on a whim

should heart give me the hint?

Show me how it feels to touch stars?

While I’m up to par

to only survive the war.

Tell me when failure bring up an allure?

Will this brokeness be cured?

Do I really see when everything’s obscure?

That rainy day

I learned to pray

“Thy will be done.

The best is yet to come.”

Believe your beliefs and doubt your doubts. –F.F. Bosworth
